Ritual cannibalism is central to Christianity; eating the flesh of the god/victim, and drinking his blood, is an essential act of magic, in which the power of the victim is transferred to the cannibal. In Christianity, this act of ritual magic transfers the god's immortality to the believer.

John 6:53-56 Jesus said to them, "I tell you the truth, unless you eat the flesh of the Son of Man and drink his blood, you have no life in you. Whoever eats my flesh and drinks my blood has eternal life, and I will raise him up at the last day. For my flesh is real food and my blood is real drink. Whoever eats my flesh and drinks my blood remains in me, and I in him."

For many Christians, the bloody spectacle of human sacrifice is the core image of their religion, just as it was for the Aztecs and Mayans. The result of the violent union of these highly magical and "blood thirsty" religions can be seen in New World Catholicism, in which ritual self-abuse and torture imagery is blatant.

War is human sacrifice

The father disposes of the son while shedding crocodile tears: military officials send flags and letters and medals to mothers and fathers, who dutifully recite that their son's or daughter's death was a noble sacrifice, and essential to preserve freedom. It's a lie. Soldiers die for the pharaoh, the king, the father, the male hierarchy. Males are in competition with each other, and they use whatever tactics are necessary to control and distribute wealth, including human sacrifice.

The current crisis in government is just this: there is no Top Male big enough to control the American Empire. Competing gangs (Democrats and Republicans) want the emperor's throne, not to govern, but to control wealth. Those who protest the expansion of presidential power are the very men who want that power.

Julius Caesar was correct: Ancient Rome had become too complex to survive as a republic. He wasn't assassinated by the mob, but by Top Male rivals within the Senate who were his peers. The civil war that followed brought death and suffering to the Roman world on an incredible scale. The eventual winner and first emperor was Julius Caesar's adopted nephew Octavian. In this sense, Julius Caesar won a posthumous victory.

Augustus Caesar (Octavian) became Rome's first emperor in the traditional way, by killing off the competition, and as Top Male , his rule brought a long period of relative peace, growth, and prosperity, which is often the case when an all out war purges the male hierarchy of less able men and competing factions. After years of resources being diverted and destroyed in war, human talent and energy was put to work building the empire under the leadership of a true Top Male.

The Roman Empire became incredibly successful by bringing diverse cultures into one pragmatic scheme based on an urban model of sanitation, roads that supported travel and trade, protection for citizens, religious tolerance, and no racism. Roman families had always been corporations, and their system of male adoption procured capable leaders for these corporations. This system also proved to be a workable solution to the "son" problem; knock off the internal threat and replace him with a loyal, capable, and indebted substitute.

The continuation of Top Male struggles can be seen in the American Civil War. Abraham Lincoln was not a saint; he was a Top Male of the Old Testament type, and as ruthless as any ancient despot: his aim was the destruction of the Southern economy. The decision to emancipate slaves was a cynical tactic that exploited genuine and proper moral feelings against slavery in the North.

During the years before the war, the dispute had centered on the spread of slavery to western territory. The fight was over which Top Males would control and profit from development of the West; the wealth to be gained from the exploitation of land, water, coal, timber, gold and agriculture was immense. The incredible cost in lives lost during the Civil War (600,000 soldiers alone), property destruction, and years of suffering by civilians, was not paid to the cause of moral rectitude. The purpose of the slaughter was to capture the spoils that awaited the victors, not the least of which would be the humiliation of Southern males.

In addition, the true emancipation of African Americans was set back by nearly one-hundred years: after pillaging the South and humiliating its males, the North happily abandoned "former" slaves to their fate at the hands of racists, and returned to displacing native peoples, exploiting the continent, and gaining immense wealth. Post war, Northerners had little moral or ethical concern over the fate of African Americans, and Southerners returned to mercilessly persecuting and exploiting "former" slaves.

The current failure of leadership in the United States has set off a Top Male feeding frenzy; the wealth of the American Empire is being devoured by piranhas. Late in its history, Rome was no longer the heart of an inventive and dynamic culture; it was simply a place where wealth was hoarded and squandered. Like Rome, the United States has become a carcass for scavengers to pick. The United States government has depleted the country's wealth, by redistributing it to Top Males, and we have become a nation of irresponsible and overwhelming debt. Until and unless a leader shows up who can either dominate the male hierarchy, or at least suppress warring factions, the Senate and Congress will not return to governing the country, but will continue to fight over whatever is left. The Founding Fathers tried to limit male competition by creating three bases of power: presidential, judicial and legislative. It was a good plan, but the United States is now an empire, and not a republic, and the fight for the spoils is well underway. Those who are doing the looting certainly have no respect for justice or the law.

The American Stone Age

In the United States the battle over Top Male is raging within the male hierarchy; political leaders have abandoned the people and refuse to perform their jobs. In the midst of chaos, many Americans have retreated even further into the Stone Age. A high percentage of Christians have elected Jehovah to be the nation's Top Male, and no longer recognize civil authority. The cult of Jesus has replaced secular activity in vast areas of the country. Believers have effectively renounced the Constitution, and have taken an oath of loyalty to a supernatural being that does not exist.

There is no place within the Stone Age mind for human dignity or independence, for the rule of law, individual choice, or equality for women and children; slavery is the norm. Even Top Males are abused puppets terrorized and humiliated by Jehovah, the psychopath.

When our species was young, there were few ideas being produced by the human brain and people looked to the physical environment for answers and inspiration. That was 200,000 years ago, and in the interim, human beings have come up with millions of ideas, and have kept most of them: human culture is a landfill, where valuable knowledge is buried with the useless. We need to clean up our ideas.

The grotesque and pathological punishment for "dissing" a Top Male is vividly described in Deuteronomy. Jehovah threatens the Hebrews that if they don't "revere this glorious and awesome name" (in magic, names have power) they will be forced to eat their own children.

"Because of the suffering that your enemy will inflict on you during the siege, you will eat the fruit of the womb, the flesh of the sons and daughters the LORD your God has given you. 54 Even the most gentle and sensitive man among you will have no compassion on his own brother or the wife he loves or his surviving children, 55 and he will not give to one of them any of the flesh of his children that he is eating.... 56 The most gentle and sensitive woman among you...will begrudge the husband she loves and her own son or daughter 57 the afterbirth from her womb and the children she bears. For she intends to eat them secretly during the siege and in the distress that your enemy will inflict on you in your cities.

58 If you do not carefully follow all the words of this law, which are written in this book, and do not revere this glorious and awesome name—59 the LORD will send fearful plagues on you and your descendants, harsh and prolonged disasters, and severe and lingering illnesses....63 Just as it pleased the LORD to make you prosper and increase in number, so it will please him to ruin and destroy you."

Judging from history, Jehovah is a god of his word.
